Blueberry Sauce
Top your favorite Amish Friendship Bread biscuits or scones with this easy blueberry sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 cups blueberries divided
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Combine 1 cup blueberries, sugar and water in a small saucepan (if using frozen blueberries, omit the water) over medium heat, stirring until the blueberries pop and the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and add the remaining cup of blueberries and vanilla. Stir well and serve warm or at room temperature.

I would love to make this recipe for Christmas brunch! The texture and color in your photo make it look simply delectable. I think I would top pancakes or waffles with it and then give it a quick sprinkle of powdered sugar.
