Today’s featured recipe is a Tuscan-inspired Amish Friendship Bread Coffee Cake. It’s a classy treat for the holiday season, and tastes delicious when served warm out of the oven or toasted the next day.

A cross between a yeast bread and candied cake, this recipe packs just enough sweetness with golden raisins and Calimyrna figs. Top with toasted or candy walnuts, and serve with a hot cup of coffee, cider or tea!

    I commented on the coffee cake, but definitely won’t be doing this one. Can’t stand fruits or nuts in my baked goods! I know; I’m weird! Lol!

    I Absolutely love coffee cake. My favorite topping is brown sugar and walnuts.
    I would love to make it as a refreshment for my senior ladies in my business.
