I’ve been baking friendship breads all week with the starters I did last month. I love doing these every year. Always wanted to try pineapple but I remember years ago being told anything but pineapple. I’m glad to get this recipe now. I just finished making chocolate almond cherry, cranberry orange, lemon coconut, banana nut chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin, and chocolate peanut butter! The neighbors love them! I freeze the leftover breads and can snack on them throughout the year. Such a fun thing to do!

I’m so excited to find this site and the pineapple bread recipe! I was given a start and recipe yrs ago by a friend but got tired of doing it every 10 days so I threw it out. Then threw out the recipe because I didn’t have directions for the starter. Later I regretted it. Now I have the recipe and starter directions and know I can freeze the starter! Life is good!

I had this recipe years ago and lost it when my mother fell ill and I transported it across country trying to keep my starter alive. It died. I am so excited to have this recipe back!! It is so delicious!!
