This is the jar I use to store my starter, especially when I need to take a short break and store it in the fridge. In the fridge, the lid is sealed, but when it’s on my counter, I latch it but keep it loose (about a ½” gap) so air can escape. I have several of these jars, and they make wonderful gifts. They’re pretty, practical, AND dishwasher safe.
